![]() Turo’s hosts have been operating on the XNA campus since the ordinance went into effect, but Turo has failed and refused to submit the required operating reports or remit the required operating fees. XNA Ordinance 2022-2, passed on December 14, 2022, requires that peer-to-peer operators such as Turo provide monthly reports of activity occurring at XNA and pay a monthly operating fee equal to 10% of the month’s gross receipts. Turo provides a web or application-based platform for private car owners to rent their vehicles to other individuals on a short-term basis. (“Turo”) is a peer-to-peer car-sharing company based in San Francisco.
